- GREASE LAYER PAN: 8X8X2 OR 9X9X2 INCHES OR ROUND 9X1.5 INCHES.
- COFFEE CAKE INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cflour

3/4 csugar

2 1/2 tspbaking powder

3/4 tspsalt

1/4 cshortening

3/4 cmilk

- TOPPING INGREDIENTS

1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/4 cflour

1/2 tspcinnamon

3 Tbspbutter, firm butter.
How To Make favorite coffee cake

1Heat Oven to 375 degrees.

2Grease round layer pan, 9 x 1 1/2 inches. or square pan, 8 x 8 x2 inches or 9 x9 x2 inches.

3Blend all ingredients except Topping. Beat vigorously 1/2 minute. Spread in greased pan.

4Make Topping: Mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and firm butter until crumbly.

5Sprinkle Topping over batter.

6Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm.
