I make this pound cake for family and friends during the holidays. It's so tasty and moist. The fact the this cake calls for eggnog makes it extra special during the holidays. Family and friends approved!

Ingredients For eggnog poundcake

  • 1-16oz. pkg
    pound cake mix
  • 1 1/4 c
    egg nog
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make eggnog poundcake

    Preheat oven to 350*. Beat all ingredients together at low speed with an electric mixer until blended. Increase speed to medium, and beat 2 minutes. Pour into a lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.

    Bake @ 350* for 1 hour to 1 hour and 5 min. or until a long wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 min. Remove from pan to wire rack, and cool completely. (About 1 hour) Enjoy!
