5 Tbspall purpose flour

1 1/4 cegg nog

1 cbutter,softened

3/4 csugar

1 tspvanilla

1/4 tspground nutmeg
How To Make egg nog filling for cake

1Combine flour and a small amount of eggnog in a pan; stir until smooth.

2Stir in remaining eggnog; bring to a boil, stirring constantly...I use a whisk for this.

3Cook and stir constantly for 2 minutes.

4Cool COMPLETELY.

5In large bowl or using stand mixer,cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and nutmeg.

6Gradually beat in cooled eggnog mixture...split 2 layer cake and use filling on three layers.
