  • 1
    3.5 ounce non-instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 10 drops
    violet food coloring

How To Make easy purple velvet cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Prep. cake according to package directions, substituting half of the water called for with buttermilk. Stir in pudding mix and food coloring.

    Pour into cake pan/pans and bake according to the package's directions.
