My youth group Gods Crew at Alvin Lutheran Church in Alvin, Texas did a cookbook and Mae Mills included this as her donation to the book ! It is perfect for a Potluck or any occasion a cake is needed for and always a crowd pleaser !

Ingredients For easy pineapple upside down cake

1 boxyellow cake mix
-
1/3 cbrown sugar
-
1 stickbutter or margarine
-
maraschino cherries (as much or as little as you like)

sliced pineapple (as much or as little as you like)
How To Make easy pineapple upside down cake

1Place the butter in your cake pan and place it in the oven while your oven is preheating at 350. Mix the yellow cake mix as per the boxes directions.

2Once the butter is melted spread the brown sugar evenly on the bottom of the pan mixing with the butter. Then lay your pineapple out in which order you choose and place the cherries on the bottom of the pan as well.

3Then pour you cake batter carefully onto the pineapple and cherries. Then place in the oven for 40 min time may vary.

4As soon as you pull the cake out of the oven you place your serving dish on top of it and then flip it over. Then ENJOY!!!!
