This cake needs to be stored in the fridge. I find cream of coconut in the aisle where you find drink mixers.

Ingredients For easy coconut cream cake

  • 1 box
    cake mix, yellow or white
  • 1 can
    cream of coconut
  • 1 pkg
    shredded coconut
  • 1 pkg
    cool whip,thawed

How To Make easy coconut cream cake

  • 1
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions, ADDING 1 cup of the coconut to batter. Bake in 13 x9 pan according to package directions.

    While cake is still warm, poke holes in cake, drizzle cream of coconut over top. Place in fridge to cool completely.

    When cool, frost cake with the cool whip topping.
  • 4
    Sprinkle package with remaining coconut and put in the fridge to cool. Enjoy
