I was looking for something different, I ran across this recipe it look so good so i bought the ingredients and tried it. Wow! was it a hit or what? My grandson ate a piece and he was almost finished except one bite he dropped it on the table and said, "awe! i dropped the good piece." Lol... Of course he picked it up and ate it. Enjoy!!! You can also make cupcakes with it. Which that is what the recipe is for but i made a cake. I want to give credit where it's due. I found it at tastytriumphs.blogspot.com

Ingredients For earthquake cake

1chocolate cake mix

1 ccoconut
-
1 cpecans chopped

8 ozcream cheese, softened

8 ozstick of butter, melted

4 cpowered sugar

1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make earthquake cake

1preheat oven to 350 degrees

2Prepare cake mix according to directions on the box. Spray glass pan.

3Sprinkle coconut on bottom of pan,then sprinkle chopped pecans.Pour cake mixture onto coconut and pecans.

4In a small saucepan, over medium heat,melt butter and cream cheese together, stirring often until both are melted and combined.

5Blend in 4 cups of powered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.

6Swirl the butter mixture over the cake mixture.

7Bake for about 12-20 minutes they may seem slightly underdone, but they will firm up as they cool.Butter mixture will sink into the cake and make a gooey center.
