One of my families favorite cakes. The icing sinks into cake as it bakes. thus the quake.

Ingredients For earthquake cake

  • 1 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1 1/4 c
    coconut, flaked
  • 1
    cake mix, german chocolate
  • 1 stick
    margarine
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 lb
    box powdered sugar

How To Make earthquake cake

  • 1
    In 9x12 inch pan,cover with the nuts and coconut in the bottom of pan. Pour cake mixture over.

    Melt margarine, add cream cheese and powdered sugar Blend well. Spoon over cake batter by spoonfuls.

    Bake 40 to 42 minutes @35 Icing sinks into cake as it bakes
