I don't remember where I got this recipe, but it's a hit everywhere I take it. It couldn't be easier, and it makes the house smell wonderful.

Ingredients For dump cake

  • 1 can
    cherry pie filling
  • 1 can
    crushed pineapple, with juice (large can)
  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    shredded coconut
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts (i like pecans)

How To Make dump cake

  • 1
    Dump all ingredients into a 13 x 9-inch cake pan, in the order listed, lightly spreading each ingredient to cover bottom of pan.

    Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve warm or at room temp with ice cream or whipped cream.
