    sugar
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 3 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 lg
    instant vanilla pudding
  • 6 lg
    eggs, room temp
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make doreen's very best pound cake

    Preheat oven 325 degrees Grease and flour a 11-12 cup bundt pan
  • 2
    Beat sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and pudding. Alternating the flour mixture and the milk in the to sugar mixture. Beat until well blended. Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. (85-90 min. test with a long pick at 85min.) OK to have a few moist crumbs on pick. Let stand for about 20 minutes, then invert.
