Mmm Mmm good and so easy. The sour cream makes this cake so moist. This cake recipe comes from my sister's kitchen, she's the best baker I know.

Ingredients For dianne's poppy seed cake

  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix, not pudding type
  • 1 sm
    instant vanilla pudding and pie filling
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1/2 c
    wine or orange juice
  • 1/2 c
    poppy seeds ( i only use 1/4c)
  • 1 c
    sour cream

How To Make dianne's poppy seed cake

  • 1
    Combine all ingedients and mix by hand then fold in 1 cup sour cream. Bake in bundt pan 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with mix of powdered sugar and a little margarine, OJ and a little milk, put on while warm. (Or dust with powdered sugar)
