4-6sliced, peeled apples

How To Make delicious jewish apple cake

1In medium bowl, combine apple slices, cinnamon and 5 tbsp. sugar. Set aside. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; beat until batter is smooth. Batter will be thick.

2Pour a small amount of batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Place a layer of apple slices on top of batter. Continue layering in this fashion, ending with a layer of batter.

3Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Cool in pan 30 minutes on wire rack. Turn cake out on rack to cool thoroughly.
