The French sure know how to make decadent desserts and this one is a favorite. It is Da Bombe, a triple chocolate Bombe with your favorite ice cream. The weather is hot an sultry and this is the perfect thing to have in this summer heat. Hope you will enjoy and share with others.

Ingredients For da bombe

  • 1 (21) oz
    package of brownie mix
  • 1/2 gal
    fudge swirl ice cream, softened
  • 1 16) oz
    container of fudge frosting
  • 1 can
    whipped cream or cool whip

How To Make da bombe

  • 1
    Bake brownie mix according to package instructions in a 9x 13 " baking dish. When cool, cut into squares. Line a 2 1/2 quart bowl with plastic wrap. Press brownie squares into the bowl and up the sides, forming a brownie bowl. Spoon the softened ice cream into the brownie bowl. Cover and freeze for 6 hours or until firm. Microwave container of icing for about 30 seconds or until pourable. Invert brownie mixture over into a platter. Remove plastic wrap and pour frosting over the entire top of the brownie coating completely. Put in freezer until icing is firm. Serve or keep wrapped and frozen until ready to use.
