Ingredients For crockpot cakes

  • packaged cake mix, prepared according to directions
  • 3 lb. coffee cans, greased

How To Make crockpot cakes

    For an extra moist taste treat, pour mixed batter into greased and floured 2 to 3 lbs. coffee cans or mold. Fill no more than 2/3 full. Put in crockpot, cover top of can or mold with 4 to 6 paper towels.

    Cover and cook on high about 3 1/2 hours or in a 4 1/2 quart model, cook 4 1/2 hours, using a 3 lb. coffee can). Crockpot lid should not be tightly closed but slightly raised to allow release of excess moisture. Add no water and don’t peek til last hour. My Old Recipes
