Really great made with Puff Pastry Sheets. This is a terrific dessert but can also be warmed for breakfast.

Ingredients For crescent sopillia cheesecake

  • 2 sm
    8 oz. containers soften cream cheese
  • 2 can
    refrigerated crescent rolls, crescent sheet roll or 1 pkg. puffed pastry sheets
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    butter (1 stick) or 1/2 stick if using pastry sheet
  • 1/2 c
    cinnamon sugar mixture (bottle mixture works great)

How To Make crescent sopillia cheesecake

    Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. Butter 9x13 baking dish. (If using puffed pastry sheet take out to thaw approximately 15 to 30 minutes before). Flour working area to flatten pastry (1 can of rolls or pastry sheet)to fit bottom of dish. Place in dish. Melt butter. Mix 2 containers of cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Spread out on top of pastry. Cover with remaining pastry. Pour butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake 30 minute. Cool and cut into squares. Optional serve with honey.
