1/2 cbutter

2 ozunsweetened chocolate, cut up

1 csugar

2eggs

1/4 tspmint extract

2/3 call purpose flour
- FOR THE FROSTING

1/4 cbutter
-
1 1/2 csifted powdered sugar

2 Tbspgreen creme de menthe

1 Tbspmilk
- FOR THE CHOCOLATE TOPPINGS

1 ozsemi sweet baking chocolate

3 Tbspmilk

1/2 candes mint chocolate candies, chopped (optional)
How To Make creme de menthe brownies

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Grease and flour an 8x8 square pan; set aside.

3In a medium heavy saucepan, stir 1/2 cup butter and unsweetened chocolate over low heat just until melted. Cool for 5 minutes. Stir in sugar, eggs, and mint extract. Stir just until combined.

4Stir in flour and spread batter into greased pan.

5Bake for 20 minutes and cool completely in a pan.

6For frosting, beat together 1/4 cup butter until fluffy, add in powdered sugar and continue to beat until incorporated, beat in creme de menthe, and milk.

7Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until frosting is chilled and firm.

8In the microwave or a small sauce pan over low heat, melt semi sweet chocolate and milk; stirring often. Drizzle chocolate over chilled brownies. Cool at room temp.

9Sprinkle chopped Andes mint chocolate candies over the top.
