OK--I love using liquers in cakes. This one intrigued me--and it is very good (I got it from a credit union employee when I worked in Louisiana). I am tempted to try a chocolate glaze the next time I make it, since chocolate and banana seem to go so well together.

Ingredients For creme de banana cake

1 pkggolden butter cake mix

1 pkginstant banana pudding (4 serving size)

3 lgeggs

1/2 cvegetable oil

1/2 ccreme de banana
-
1/2 cwater
- GLAZE

1 csugar
-
1 stickbutter

1/4 ccreme de banana

1/4 cwater
How To Make creme de banana cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 10 cup bundt pan with PAM.

2Mix first six ingredients together and pour into prepared pan.

3Bake for 1 hour or until tester comes out clean.

4After cake has cooled, make glaze by combining sugar, butter, creme de banana and water in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat, and continue to cook for 3 minutes.

5Pour glaze over cooled cake.
