I present a another recipe for oats layer cake, based on the famous ice cream flavor cookies and cream.

3 crolled oats, divided

3 cOreo cookie crumbs, divided

3/4 cvanilla flavored almond milk

1 tspcream of tartar

1 boxdevil's food cake mix

1 1/4 cwater
-
1/2 cvegetable oil
-
3eggs
-
8Oreos cookies, crushed
-
2 Tbspmargarine
-
1/2 ccane sugar
-
1 cheavy cream
-
1 cansweetened condensed milk
-
1 chalf and half
-
8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
3/4 cvanilla chips
How To Make cookies and cream oats layer cake

1In a medium jar, combine 1 cup rolled oats, 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs, vanilla almond milk and cream of tartar;s tir well with a fork for 2 minutes until blended.

2Cover and refrigerated for 4 hours.

3Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

4Coat two 9" round cake pans with cooking spray.

5In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil, eggs and crushed Oreo cookies; beat on low speed for 40 seconds.

6Add cookies-and-cream oat mixture into the cake batter. Beat again on medium speed for 3 minutes.

7Pour into the cake pans. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted the center comes out clean. Cool completely for 12 minutes.

8Heat 2 margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Add remaining rolled oats and cane sugar, saute for 4 minutes or until browned. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs.

9In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, sweet condensed milk, half and half and cream cheese; whisk well until blended and smooth.

10Place one layer of cake onto a serving plate. Spread half of the frosting on top, thick and evenly. Add sauteed oat mixture all over the frosting.

11Place another cake on top. Spread remaining frosting on the top and sides of the cake. Sprinkle with remaining Oreo cookie crumbs.
