This recipe came to me as a Very Young Bride, 43 yrs. ago from my Mother-in-law. It is so easy and always a crowd pleaser. My kids and grand-kids always want this when they come, so guess what,Cold Oven Pound Cake. Really good with Fresh Strawberries and Redi-whip.

Ingredients For cold oven pound cake

  • 1 c
    = 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    sifted sr flour
  • 6
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract

How To Make cold oven pound cake

    Put flour in your bowl, then all of the rest of ingredients.

    Beat 12 FULL minutes. Be sure 12 FULL MINUTES.

    Grease and flour your TUBE PAN,or BUNDT PAN

    Put in COLD OVEN ! Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Reduce temperature to 325 degrees. Bake for 55 more minutes.

    Empty cake onto your favorite Cake Plate. Enjoy !
