This is a combination of 4 different cakes - I did not have all the ingredients needed for the cake I wanted to make so this is a little of this and a little of that recipes to make this moist and wake you up in the morning coffeecake! You get the coffee and the chocolate kick at the same time!!

Ingredients For coffee lovers coffeecake

  • FIRST IN THE PAN:
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar, packed
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    white chocolate chips
  • CAKE BATTER:
  • 3/4 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c
    dairy buttermilk
  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground coffee bean
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • FILLING:
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground coffee bean

How To Make coffee lovers coffeecake

    Preheat oven to 350^. Spray a 10-inch tube cake pan and set aside. Mix together "First in the pan" ingredients. Place these ingredients on the bottom of the prepared pan.

    Cake batter: In a large bowl. cream butter and sugar, until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time until well beaten in than add the vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and stir into egg mixture alternately with the buttermilk, ending with dry ingredients.

    Filling: Combine ingredients until crumbly, mixing well. set aside.

    Pour 1/2 the batter into the prepared pan over the "first in the pan" and add then add filling on top-not touching the sides. Pour remaining cake batter over the filling and spread evenly over filling. Bake in 350^ oven for 50-60 minutes or until tested done with cake tester. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to cake plate with white chocolate topping up. Slice thin this is a rich cake.
