Ingredients For coffee cake for diabetic

  • 2 c
    flour or gluten flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/3 c
    margarine or light margarine
  • 1
    egg,beaten
  • 1/4 c
    non-fat milk or milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    sugar or spenda sugar (24 packets)

How To Make coffee cake for diabetic

  • 1
    Sift together the flour and baking powder. Fold in the margarine and set aside. In a separate bowl, place the egg,milk,cold coffee,almond extract,vanilla extract and sugar or Splenda sugar and mix well. Add in the flour mixture and beat until the batter is smooth.

    Pour the batter into a greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 325F. Tips:

    To check if the cake is done,insert a toothpick or knitting needle through the center. If the toothpick or needle come out clean, you'll know your cake is ready.
