5eggs

1 cmilk

3 cflour

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1 ccoconut

1 tspcoconut extract
How To Make coconut pound cake

1Cream butter sugar crisco and cocnut extract. Add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy.Mix flour salt and baking powder well. Alternate flour and milk with the creamed mixture. Fold in coconut. Put cake in cold oven @350 and bake for 1hr. and 15 minutes. (I use a bundt pan but you can also use a loaf pan)

2Combine 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup water and 1 teaspoon coconut extract. Bring to boil and boil for 1 minute. Pour over cake while still warm
