I kind of combined ingredients from a couple of favorite cake recipes to come up with my own moist, delicious coconut cake. A favorite now, requested often.

Ingredients For coconut cream pound cake

1 boxyellow cake mix, no pudding

4eggs

1/2 ccanola oil

1 boxinstant coconut pudding

1 smbag sweetened coconut

1 tspcoconut flavoring

1 1/2 csour cream
- GLAZE

2 csugar
-
1/2 cwater

1 tspcoconut flavoring
How To Make coconut cream pound cake

1Blend first four ingredients with hand mixer. Add flavoring. Stir in coconut by hand. Swirl in sour cream just until blended. Pour in greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour @ 350 degrees.

2Glaze: Boil sugar and water 1 minute. Remove from heat, add flavoring. Pour over warm cake.
