3/4 cbutter - softened

3/4 cpacked brown sugar

3/4 cgranulated sugar

1 tspvanilla extract

2eggs

1 3/4 cunsifted all-purpose flour

1/2 chershey's cocoa

1 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspbaking soda
-
8 ozplain yogurt - room temprature

1 cwalnuts - chopped
- COCOA FUDGE FROSTING
-
1/4 cbutter
-
1/4 chershey's cocoa
-
1 1/2 cpowdered sugar
-
3 Tbspmilk
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract
-
1/4 cwalnuts-coarsely chopped
How To Make cocoa-walnut brownie loaf

1BROWNIE LOAF Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating until mixture is light and fluffy.

3Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture in thirds alternately with yogurt.

4Stirr in chopped walnuts. Pour into greased and floured 9"x 5"x 3" loaf pan.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 65-75 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched with fingertip (top may be cracked). Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert onto wire rack and cool completely.

6Frost with Cocoa Fudge Frosting

7COCOA FUDGE FROSTING Melt butter. Combine with sugar, milk, and vanilla; beat until smooth and creamy, adding additional powdered sugar if necessary for spreading consistency. After brownie loaf is frosted decorate with chopped walnuts.
