- 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 cup cold water
How To Make cockeyed cake, mom's

Step 1Put flour, cocoa and salt through sifter. Stir into greased 9x9 pan, make 3 grooves. Pour water over all. Beat with a spoon until nearly smooth and you can't see the flour. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Can double recipe and make in a bowl, loaf pan or layer pan.
