How To Make cinnamon swirl snickerdoodle mug cake
-
1In a small bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder. In a separate bowl, mix the additional cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
-
2Add wet ingredients to the first bowl. Mix with a small whisk until just combined.
-
3Pour half the batter into a 12 oz mug.
-
4Add 1 tsp of cinnamon sugar on top of the batter.
-
5Pour the other half of the batter into the mug. Top with the remaining cinnamon sugar.
-
6Take a butter knife and give it a quick swirl.
-
7Place in the microwave. Cook for about 90 seconds. Time may vary depending on the strength of your microwave. (Carefully remove the mug, it’s hot!)
-
8The cake will puff up while cooking. When removed from the microwave it will settle down to about an inch from the rim.
-
9Top with 1 Tbsp of store-bought cream cheese frosting. If you top with frosting while it’s hot, it will melt like the topping on a cinnamon roll.
