Ingredients For cinnamon & spice coffee cake with crisp topping
- CAKE:

2 cbisquit mix (whatever you prefer)

1/2 call purpose flour

1 cbrown sugar, lightly packed

2/3 corange juice, apple juice or milk

1egg
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract

1 tspcinnamon extract

1 Tbspcinnamon, ground

1/2 tspallspice, ground

1/4 tspclove, ground
- CRISP TOPPING:

1/3 coatmeal, uncooked
-
1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 tspcinnamon extract

1/2 tspcinnamon, ground

1/8 tspclove, ground
-
2 Tbspbutter or margarine, soft
-
1 ozalmonds, sliced (optional)
- ICING (IF DESIRED):

1 cpowdered sugar
-
1/8 cbrown sugar, lightly packed
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract or cinnamon extract

2 Tbsporange juice, apple juice or milk
-
1 Tbspmargarine or butter, melted
How To Make cinnamon & spice coffee cake with crisp topping

1FOR CAKE: Preheat oven to 375* F. Stir cake ingredients in medium bowl until blended. Grease bread pan or 9" round pan. Pour cake mixture into pan. Sprinkle with crisp topping. Bake 28-33 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10-15 minutes.

2CRISP TOPPING: Stir together ingredients in a small bowl until margarine/butter is well mixed into topping. Sprinkle over cake batter.

3ICING (OPTIONAL): Mix icing ingredients briskly together until while cake is baking. After cake has cooled, drizzle onto top.

4GARNISHES (if you like): Orange slices, cinnamon sticks, apple slices & whatever else strikes your fancy!
