We love cinnamon and these cupcakes that I found on the Land o lakes site are great...especially topped with the cinnamon frosting which I will post also. I have added finely chopped apple and they are incredible too.

Ingredients For cinnamon cupcakes

  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    land o lakes cinnamon sugar butter spread
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make cinnamon cupcakes

    Heat oven to 350°F and line your muffin pan with papers.

    Mix flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl and set aside.

    Beat sugar and 1/2 cup Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread in large bowl at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.

    Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition.

    On low; add flour mixture, alternately with 1/2 cup milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Mixing well after each addition until mixed well.

    Bake for 23 to 27 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan; remove to wire cooling rack. Cool completely before frosting.
