A good friend of mine made this for me about 20 years ago and it is one if my favorite cake recipes. It is a cake version of cinnamon rolls!

Ingredients For cinnamon bun cake

1 boxgolden cake mix (butter recipe)

3/4 cbutter, melted

4eggs
-
8 ozsour cream
-
1 cbrown sugar, lightly packed

1 Tbspcinnamon
-
2 cpowdered sugar
-
4 Tbspmilk
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract
-
1/2 tspbutter flavoring
How To Make cinnamon bun cake

1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. In a medium bowl, beat the cake mix, butter, eggs, and sour cream on low for a minute to blend.

2Pour the batter into a 9x13 baking dish. Pour half the cake batter in.

3In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of the batter in your baking dish. Pour the remaining batter over the sugar mixture.

4Bake cake for 30-40 minutes until done.

5Mix powdered sugar, milk, vanilla and butter extracts to make a glaze.

6Remove cake from oven and while still warm top with your glaze and let cool.
