Ingredients For christmas cherry nut bars

  • 1 oblong pan sprayed with pam and preheat oven to 350
  • 2 boxes cherry cake mix. and 2 boxes cherry [pink] pudding
  • 1 tub red candied cherries sliced in 1/2
  • 1 tub green candied cherries sliced in 1/2
  • 1 tub green candied pineapples
  • 1 tub red candied pineapple
  • walnut 1/2s 2 tubs cream cheese frosting
  • ingredients to make cake
  • put a little less liquid in cake batter. cos if its thin everything will go to the bottom of cake.
  • if batter is to thin add a little ""cake"" flour. a little at a time

    MAKE CAKE BATTER. ADD THE 2 BOXES OF PINK PUDDING[WALMARTS HAS IT] THEN SLOWLY INCORPERATE EACH INGREDIENT AND MIX WELL. AND POUR 1/2 WAY UP THE PAN OR IF REAL DEEP A LITTLE LESS THAN 1/2 WAY UP THE PAN

    PLACE INTO PRE HEATED OVEN TIL TOOTHPIC COMES OUT CLEAN. THEN REMOVE FROM OVEN AND LET COOL COMPLETLY

    WHILE CAKE IS IN OVEN SLICE THE CANDIED PINEAPPLE TO MAKE PINWHEELS. AND HAVE THE NUTS READY. WHEN COOL CUT INTO BARS. AN PLACE ON A PLATER

    FROST EACH BAR SEPERATELY WITH THE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING. PLACE NUT FLAT SIDE DOWN IN MIDDLE OF EACH BAR

    NOW TAKE THE SLICES OF CANDIED PINEAPPLES AND PLACE 1 GREEN, 1 RED, PINWHEEL STYLE AROUND NUT. I PUT IT THE FREEZER TO SET THE FROSTING ECT...... SERVE ON HOLIDAY PLATTER
