Who knew pecan pie, cheesecake, and a bit of peanut butter would create an amazing dessert? The bottom crust is crunchy and buttery. Chocolate and peanut butter chips add pops of flavor to the sweet and tangy cream cheese layer. On top is a sweet and nutty pecan pie. Topped with a cinnamon-spiced buttery crumble, this is a match made in heaven. It's a decadent treat for the holiday season.

  • THE CRUST
  • 1 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • PECAN PIE LAYER
  • 1 c
    pecans
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    corn syrup, dark
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • CHEESECAKE LAYER
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, low-fat
  • 1/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • ALSO
  • 1/2 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter chips

How To Make chocolate peanut butter pecan pie cheesecake bars

  • Crust baking in the oven.

    The Crust: Preheat your oven to 350 F. Spray an 8 inch brownie pan with cooking spray and layer the bottom with parchment paper. In a large bowl, bring together all crust ingredients (except the cinnamon). Mix with your fingertips until it's all crumbly. Set 1/2 cup of the crumbles aside. Press the remaining crumbles into your brownie pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Preparing the pecan pie and cheesecake layer.

    Pecan Pie and Cheesecake Layer: In a medium bowl, bring together all pecan pie ingredients. Stir until well combined and set aside. In another medium bowl, bring together all cheesecake ingredients. Mix with an electric mixer until well combined; set aside. Mix cinnamon into the crumbles that you set aside earlier.
  • Chocolate and peanut butter chips sprinkled over the baked crust.

    Finishing up: After pre-baking your crust, sprinkle chocolate and peanut butter chips over the bottom.
  • Cheesecake layer spread over the chocolate chips.

    Spread cream cheese mixture over it.
  • Pecan pie mixture spread over the cheesecake layer.

    Top with pecan pie mixture.
  • Crumb layer sprinkled on top and bars baking.

    Sprinkle the remaining crumbles on top. Bake for another 35 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.
