This chocolate eclair cake is sure to satisfy a chocolate fix. This classic no-bake dessert is layers of goodness. The pudding layer is creamy and softens the graham cracker layer. Hot fudge is poured over the top and garnished with maraschino cherries. Once chilled, you get all of the flavors of an eclair without the work.

Ingredients For chocolate eclair cake

  • 2 box
    instant French vanilla pudding (3.4 oz each)
  • 3 c
    milk
  • 8 oz
    frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 box
    graham crackers
  • 1 jar
    hot fudge topping (11.75 oz)
  • 1 jar
    maraschino cherries (12 oz)

How To Make chocolate eclair cake

  • Blend pudding and milk.

    Using an electric blender or wire whisk, blend pudding and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in whipped topping.

    Stir in Cool Whip.
  • Stir until creamy.

    Stir until creamy and well combined.
  • Line a 9x13 baking dish with graham crackers.

    Line the bottom of a 9x13 pan with graham crackers.
  • Spread half the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.

    Pour and spread half of the pudding mixture on top of the graham crackers.
  • Add another layer of graham crackers.

    Add another layer of graham crackers on top of the pudding mixture.
  • Add another layer of pudding and graham crackers.

    Spread the remaining pudding mixture onto the graham crackers. Add another layer of graham crackers.
  • Pour warmed hot fudge over the graham crackers.

    Place hot fudge topping in a microwavable bowl and heat for 1 minute. Stir and heat for 1 minute more. Stir again and pour over the top layer of the graham crackers. Spread until smooth.
  • Garnish with maraschino cherries.

    Garnish top with maraschino cherries. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or, for best results, overnight.
