I enjoy experimenting with Gooey Butter Cakes for different occassions. When my office had a "Chocolate Decadence Day" I knew I wanted to try something really special. We have a lot of dark chocolate fans, so I went as dark as possible. It disappeared very quickly. It's now a favorite at our pot luck luncheons.

1 stickbutter, melted

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

1 jarhershey special dark topping

How To Make chocolate decadence gooey butter cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray.

2In a medium bowl of electric mixer, combine cake ingredients. Spread in prepared pan.

3In a large bowl of electric mixer, combine filling ingredients until well incorporated. Spread over cake layer.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Don't over bake; the middle should be a little jiggly. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
