I had recentely went to a Dove Chocolate Party.I ordered these Cappuccino Biscottini Chocolates. When i got them i tasted them and ohhh my are they good and thought " what am i going to do with these other then eating them all..lol. They have such a woderful sweet chocolately coffee flavor i decided to incorporate them into a coffee cake, This is what i came up with.

Ingredients For chocolate cuppuccino biscotti coffee cake

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 stick
    unstalted butter
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 pkg
    dove cappuccino biscottini chocolates ground up in a blender seperated in half
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 c
    grantualted sugar
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2
    the other ground up candies

How To Make chocolate cuppuccino biscotti coffee cake

  • 1
    cream together butter and sugar, then mix in flour,baking soda and baking powder
  • 2
    slowly add in sourcream and make sure not to over mix, then add in half of the ground up candies,mix together and pour into a springform pan sprayed with non stick spray.

    Mix together the other half of the candies, sugar and pecans and sprinkle over the cake batter and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degerees for about 45 mins. remove from oven, cool then unlatch the spring form pan and pull away from cake.
