Ingredients For chocolate covered cherry cake

    devils food cake mix
  • 1 can
    (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 5 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 1
    6 oz. pkg. of semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate covered cherry cake

    Mix by hand 1st 4 ingredients.

    Bake in oblong (9 x 13) pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Melt next 3 ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil for one minute, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips. Spread on cake before it cools.
