2 ccrushed butterscotch candies, divided

1 cmilk chocolate chips

1 boxGerman chocolate cake mix

1 cwater

1/2 cvegetable oil

4eggs, beaten

1 cNutella
-
10fun-size milky way bars, sliced

1packet instant chocolate pudding mix

1/2 cchocolate syrup
-
1 cbutterscotch chips
- BUTTERSCOTCH FROSTING

1 tubefrozen whipped topping, thawed

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1/2 cdark brown sugar
-
1 cbutterscotch ice cream topping
How To Make chocolate butterscotch cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2To make the cake, grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Add 1 cup crushed butterscotch candies and milk chocolate chips.

3In a large mixing bowl, add cake mix, water, oil, eggs, Nutella, sliced Milky Way bars, pudding mix and chocolate syrup. Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes until blended.

4Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Slowly sprinkle with butterscotch chips and press down with a wooden spoon.

5Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely for 8 minutes.

6For the butterscotch frosting, beat all ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl for 3 minutes until smooth.

7Spread the frosting onto the cake and sprinkle with remaining crushed butterscotch candies.
