chocolate cranberry apple cake
This cake is so delicious, it reminds me of a cordial chocolate cherry. I made this because I had a lot of leftover cranberry jelly from Thanksgiving. I had no idea what to do with it, so I decided to put it in some cupcakes. But I had no liners, so I used my Bundt cake pans. This is perfect for the holidays; my kids devoured it in two days. And, it is so easy to make and not time-consuming. It is even better the next day. You can warm it up and put a scoop of ice cream on top. If you do use canned jelly, you can add some dried cranberries to the batter. You can also add nuts.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Oh, how we loved this chocolate cranberry apple cake. It's a delicious chocolate Bundt cake. The apples and cranberry sauce do not stand out front and center, but they make the cake moist and tender. Each bite melts in your mouth and is filled with chocolate flavor. The creamy chocolate glaze is a wonderful topping. This is a simple dessert recipe to use up extra Thanksgiving cranberry sauce.
