A can not go wrong cake here everyone loves this! I bake this in an iron skillet.

Ingredients For cherry peach upside down cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix w/pudding
  • 2 can
    peach halfs
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 13 md
    cherry's
  • 1/4 c
    oil
  • 1 can
    reserved juice from peaches
  • 1 stick
    real butter
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar

How To Make cherry peach upside down cake

    In a large cast iron skillet melt butter, stir in the brown sugar till well blended. Remove from heat, drain the peaches saving one cup of the juice. Layer the peach halfs cut side up,place cherries around the peaches. Mix the cake mix with the 1 cup of reserved peach juice,oil and eggs. Beat on med for 3 mins. Take a cup and place batter around till all is covered. If you if try to pour the batter on it will mess up the nice placement of the fruit. Bake for one hour at 350 degree's. Once done place glass plate over top and flip over (be sure plate is large as you will have a little run off of the filling for the sides. Let cool before serving.
