Ingredients For cherry dream cake

2 csugar
-
1 3/4 call-purpose flour
-
3/4unsweetebed cocoa powder (i use hershey's)

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspsalt
-
2eggs
-
1 cmilk
-
1/2 cvegetable oil
-
2 tspvanilla
-
1 cboiling water
- ICING:
-
1 pkginstant chocolate pudding mix (i use jello brand)

2envelopes of dessert topping mix (kraft dream whip will do)

1 1/4 ccold milk (for topping mix)

1 cancherry pie filling (center of cake)
How To Make cherry dream cake

1Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour two nine inch round pans.

2In a large mixing bowl, stir together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla, mix for 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer. Stir in the boiling water last. Batter will be thin. Pour evenly into the prepared pans.

3Bake 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake tests done with a toothpick. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, and then remove from pans to a wire rack to cool completely.

4*NOTE: You can use any chocolate cake mix you want if you don’t have time to make it from scratch. (i use BC german chocolate)

5For icing: In a mixing bowl add pudding mix, topping mix, and milk. (I always double the icing to make sure I have enough)

6Directions for Icing cake: Smooth icing down sides and about 2 inches over, leaving the whole center free to spoon in your delicious cherry pie filing. Repeat process for second layer.
