This is a quick and yummy, super easy coffee cake. While it has yeast, there is no waiting for it to rise. This is a favorite that came from Southern Living 1994 Annual Recipes.

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix, divided
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 2/3 cup water, warm (120-130 degrees f)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1/3 cup butter
- GLAZE
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon water
How To Make cherry coffee cake

Step 1Place 1 1/2 cups cake mix, flour and yeast in a bowl; add warm water, stirring until smooth. Stir in eggs.

Step 2Spoon batter into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Spoon pie filling over batter. (Any fruit pie filling can be substituted); set aside.

Step 3Cut butter into remaining cake mix with pastry blender or fork until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over pie filling.

Step 4Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan.. Drizzle with Glaze and cut into squares.

Step 5Glaze: Combine all ingredients, and drizzle over cake;
