Ingredients For cherry-chocolate chunkers

1 jar10 oz maraschino cherries

112 oz bag semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)

1/2 cbutter or margarine

1 cgranulated sugar

1 1/4 call-purpose flour
-
1 tspvanilla
-
1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
3eggs, beaten

111.5 oz bag semisweet chocolate chunks (2 cups)
- CHERRY DRIZZLE

1/2 cpowdered sugar
-
3 to 5 tspreserved maraschino cherry liquid
How To Make cherry-chocolate chunkers

1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Drain cherries well, reserving liquid for the Cherry Drizzle. Cut cherries in half; set aside.

2Melt chocolate chips and butter in 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly; remove from heat.

3Stir in sugar, flour, vanilla, baking powder,salt and eggs. Stir in cherries and chocolate chunks.

4Spread dough in ungreased rectangular 9x13 pan. Bake 32 to 37 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

5Make Cherry Drizzle. Mix powdered sugar and cherry liquid in small bowl with spoon until smooth. Number of drops of liquid used depends on how thick you want the drizzle to be...more like a glaze or more like a frosting!

6Place Cherry Drizzle in resealable plastic food storage bag. Cut off tip of bag. Squeeze drizzle in desired pattern on top of brownies. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.
