Ingredients For cheesecake in a jar
- PLAN/PURCHASE

3/4 ccookie crumbs, graham crumbs, your choice

2 Tbspsweet butter, unsalted, melted

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

1/4 csugar, granulated varitey
-
1 Tbspclover fresh honey
-
1/3 csour cream
-
1 lgfarm fresh egg
-
blueberries or other topping of your choice
How To Make cheesecake in a jar

1PREP/PREPARE

2Gather your ingredients.

3Place a rack in the bottom position, and preheat the oven to 325f (165c).

4Add the butter to the cookie crumbs.

5Mix until combined.

6Divide the crumb mixture between three or four small jars, and press into the bottoms.

8Add the cream cheese, sugar, and honey to a bowl.

9Beat until thoroughly combined.

10Add the egg and sour cream.

11Continue to beat until the mixture is combined.

12Divide the cheesecake batter between the jars.

13Add the jars to a small, high-walled pan.

14Place in the oven, and fill the pan halfway up with boiling water.

15Chef's Note: By cooking the jars in a water bath, you're giving them a nice steady heat to cook in.

16Bake until the cream cheese sets, about 20 to 25 minutes.

17Chef’s Note: There will still be a bit of a jiggle in the centers.

18Cover the jars, and cool in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours.
