I used to go to a little amish bakery in "Charm" Ohio and buy these. The Little lady who owned the franchise "Mary", gave me her recipe. I have made these many times and they are so delicious. they are "cupcake" size and good to take to potlucks and family gatherings. no need to worry about utensils and etc...

Ingredients For cheese tarts
- CRUSTS

2 1/2 cpastry flour, or all purpose

8 oz pkgcream cheese
-
1 cshortening
-
pinchsalt
- TOP WITH:
-
16 ozcream cheese
-
2eggs
-
1 csugar
-
1 Tbsppure vanilla extract

1 cpowdered sugar
-
1 Tbspmelted butter
- FRUIT FILLING

prepared fruit filling, can be canned or homemade, such as pie filling, or preserves
How To Make cheese tarts

1mix crust ingredients as you would pie dough.

2spray muffin tins with cooking spray. make crusts on bottom and up inside edges, about an inch to form a cup.

3mix "top with" ingredients, except for fruit filling.

4put 2 TBS. on crust, place 1 tsp. or more fruit filling, or preserves, and cover with another tablespoon of cheesecake mixture.

5bake 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
