Absolutely the best Pineapple cake I have ever eaten.....This recipe was handed down from 3 generations of Church of God grandmothers that cooked for all the church folk for many years.....

Ingredients For caterers' pineapple cake

1 boxyellow cake mix
- FILLLING

2eggs
-
1/2 csugar

1 stickmargarine

1 canlarge pineapple crushed

1 lgcontainer of cool whip
How To Make caterers' pineapple cake

1Cook yellow cake mix according to directions on the box

2Filling: Mix eggs and sugar then add pineapple and margarine. Cook then on medium until margarine melts. Dont let it scortch. Put holes in each layer with a toothpick and pour some of this mixture between each layer and on top. Refrigerate and right before serving ice the cake with cool whip.
