Ingredients For carmelitas
- CRUST

1 cflour
-
3/4 cpacked brown sugar

1 cquick cooking oats
-
1/2 tspbaking soda & a pinch of salt

1 1/2 stickbutter, melted
- FILLING

1 pkg(6oz) semi sweet chocolate chips

3/4 cpecans, chopped
-
1 jar(12oz) caramel ice cream topping

3 Tbspflour
How To Make carmelitas

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, oats.brown sugar, pinch of salt, baking soda and butter in bowl and blend well enough to form crumbs. Pat down two-thirds crumb mixture into sprayed 9x13 baking pan and bake for 10 minutes.

2Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Blend caramel topping with the 3 Tbs. of flour, blending well, and spread over chips and pecans. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before cutting into squares
