caramel pecan apple dump cake
(5 ratings)
I came up with this recipe to take to our family get together at Christmas this year. Feel free to tweak it anyway you want.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Dump cakes are an extremely easy and popular dessert. This caramel apple version is amazing. It's a cross between an apple fritter and pecan pie. Typically dump cakes just use a fruit filling, but this recipe includes thinly sliced apples which (along with chopped pecans) add texture to the cake. Apple juice amps up the apple flavor. Yum!
