A very simple, quick and easy recipe with a luscious taste. You will be surprised with these simple ingredients, how it will tempt your taste buds! You will think you are at the Waldorf Astoria. I found this at the bottom layer of my old recipe box. It was a Wilderness & a Comstock pie filling recipe. Picture was with the recipe. I am sure you will be very pleased. 3/2/12

Ingredients For caramel apple cheesecake quick & simple

  • 1 can
    (12oz) apple fruit filling..divided
  • 1
    9" or 10" graham cracker crust
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    caramel topping
  • 12
    pecans, halved

How To Make caramel apple cheesecake quick & simple

    Preheat oven to 350. Reserve 3/4 cup of apple filling Spoon remaining filling onto the crust. Beat together cream cheese,sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs and mix well. Pour over the apple pie filling. Bake 35 minutes or until center is set. Cool to room temperature.

    Mix reserved apple filling and caramel in a small saucepan. Heat about 1 minute. Arrange apple slices around the outside edge of cheesecake. Spoon caramel sauce over the cheesecake,and spread evenly. Decorate with pecan halves around the edge of cake. Then sprinkle with a few chopped pecans. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
