I like brownies, but generally I dont have time to make them from scratch. This is an easy way to dress up box brownies, and kill just about any sugar/chocolate craving you can imagine. They come out ooey and gooey in the middle and candy/crunchy on the bottom. You can't beat that.

Oh gosh, with a gooey middle these brownies are good. Hot chocolate sprinkled on the baking dish adds a slight crispness to the outside of the brownies. The chocolate sauce candies on top of the brownies creating a special, crunchy topping making these brownies truly supreme. They're quick, easy and will be a big hit with everyone.

Ingredients For candied lava brownies

1box of your favorite brownie mix (prepared according to package directions) or your favorite brownie recipe

2 tsphot chocolate mix (no marshmallows)
- "LAVA"

1 1/2 Tbspwater
-
1 Tbspbutter
-
1 1/2 Tbspcocoa powder

1/2 cconfectioners' sugar

1/4 tspvanilla extract
How To Make candied lava brownies

1Grease an appropriately sized baking dish for your brownie mix/recipe.

2Sprinkle hot chocolate mix around the bottom and sides and shake to coat liberally.

3In a small saucepan, combine water and butter. Bring to a boil.

4Whisk in the sugar and cocoa powder until smooth.

5Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla; set aside.

6Meanwhile, mix brownie batter.

7Pour into baking dish.

8Drizzle chocolate mixture evenly over the top of the brownie mix.

9Bake as directed.
