Ingredients For cake mix apple crisp

  • 6
    granny smith apples - med
  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    quick oats
  • 3 Tbsp
    dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted

How To Make cake mix apple crisp

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.

    Peel, core and slice the apples.
    Spread the apple evenly on the bottom of the greased baking dish.

    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oats, brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Pour the melted butter over the top of the dry ingredients. Mix with a fork until it looks crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the apples.

    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 - 40 minutes. Topping should be a nice golden brown and the apples should be tender.

    Serve Warm or Cooled.
