  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    room temp butter
  • 6 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract (or juice n zest of lemon)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    buttermilk

How To Make buttermilk pound cake

    GREASE OR SPRAY A BUNDT PAN. MIX FLOUR, BAKING SODA N SALT N SET ASIDE. PREHEAT OVEN TO 325.

    IN A LARGE BOWL BEAT BUTTER WITH SUGAR. ADD EGGS... ONE AT A TIME MIXING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. MIX IN LEMON N VANILLA. MIX IN FLOUR MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH BUTTERMILK. POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED BUNDT PAN.

    BAKE FOR 90 MINUTES...TEST CAKE AFTER AN HOUR...CAKE IS DONE AFTER CAKE PULLS AWAY FROM PAN. B4 REMOVING CAKE LET SIT N COOL IN PAN FOR 10 MINUTES....ENJOY :) CAN SERVE WITH FRESH FRUIT N WHIPPD TOPPN OR POWDERED SUGAR OR A LEMON GLAZE... WHICH EVER WAY MMMMMMMMMM!
